Mission statement
St. Martin of Tours Parish through its educational programs strives to make the development of the Catholic faith a life-long process, by teaching the truths of Jesus Christ as revealed by Christ in sacred Scripture and through the magisterium of the Church, and by providing programs that will give deeper faith and spiritual growth through understanding of basic Catholic beliefs. (adapted October 17, 1994)
Goals
Our goals are to give support to and serve as advisory group for the coordinator of religious education. We are liaisons to the board for the catechists, with each member assigned 3-4 catechists to assist in any way possible. We coordinate the first communion reception and the catechists' brunch and provide assistance at the first communion retreat and vacation bible school if needed.
